pic: Render - VexPro Aluminum Gears

I wanted a handy way to access the VexPro aluminum gears so I made a single Creo part file with all of them in it. I didn’t import step files - it’s native Creo geometry. The family table is a bit large, but it’s handy to have all 52 of them in one part file.

They look great! Care to share the file(s) with a fellow creo user  ?

Looks like a gear-change lathe that exploded…

+1 that!

And I thought is was the stack of gears for an Atlas lathe. It also reminded me of the last deck of IBM punch cards that I dropped.:yikes:

Now you are dating yourself.
My first programming class was C++ on key punch cards.
Dropping your cards was the biggest fear.
I did a 100+ card program. Everything went well till I got the results back. The program didn’t work.
Long story short. The key punch holes to the left were dead on. The ones on the right were a half hole off :ahh:

For the unintiated, there was no BACK SPACE key

Just dropping by to mention that only after I ventured into native gear modelling and part tables myself do I more fully appreciate this. Really great work.

Apologies for reviving a dead thread, Tom, but I must ask - What RGB values did you use to get that color for the gears? I’ve been looking to make a similar color for my gears and really like the one you’ve come up with.

In Creo, its a photolux color - gold, matte.
