. . . ?
Authentic 233 teaser
oops, I see something very familiar that I have seen for three years on 3 different Roccobots. =)
that is really nice machining
There’s no “oops” about anything.
i see minimal pink! what’s the world coming to :ahh:
good choice of treads!
is it just me or the frame is floating because there is no axle going through that wheel
I think the perspective it’s shot from precludes you from being able to see the axle, if it is there.
hmm no axle coming out to meet the outside of the frame.
This can only mean one thing: car type steering!!!
The Pink will come later.
…
thats what they all say (including us)
i spy a telescoping arm
and i am impressed
however, i am not even mildly surprised
If you look to the right side of the wheel, there’s a hole in the chassis that’s looks to be just the right size for a bearing, which would probably imply that at least this end of the robot has fixed, live-axle wheels.
However, judging from the faceplate in the foreground of the photo, this is a very wide channel in the middle of the drive train module. A lot wider than would be required for a plain six-wheel drive robot, especially with traction wheels that look about 1.25" wide. I’m thinking the other end of the robot has steerable wheels.
Nice wheel hope to see the rest of it
It’s possible, but it could just be a lighting hole. And how would the frame be up if there is not some portion of an axle going into the wheel. If it was a fixed axle and that was a bearing hole, the axle should come out the other end, which it isn’t doing.
Why is the wheel blue?
Someone is finally stepping up to combat the idea that everything should be pink
HAHA that’ll happen the day 1902’s ballistic piggies grow wings and fly
Yeah, I bet you guys just haven’t painted the tread yet…
