Don’t forget to ground the shield wire! Otherwise it won’t work as well!
Heh, I first read that as “shield the ground wire,” but it turns out you’re actually saying something useful
[strike]I like the idea. What does the end shown interface with? It wouldn’t be able to reach signal pins and power/ground pins on the DSC at the same time… (assuming that’s 100 pitch housing in the first place)[/strike] I see now the thread this pertains to. Cool.

And ground it only at one end, lest you induce a ground loop. In genral, practice is to ground it at the controller end, not the sensor end.
