Siri and FRC 1640 made buttons for those of us who made requests and were attending the 2010 IRI competition. They are awesome.
I thought I’d share a photo of one of the button-makers from 1640 who generously offered to make buttons for IRI attendees and also made NEMO buttons for the well-attended NEMO meeting. Generosity is a big deal in my book - even in the form of a button.

We stopped for dinner at Shoney’s in Franklin, NC. After reading my button, the cashier asked what “Chief Delfie” was? We pronounced it correctly for her and explained a little about what we did. It’s nice to spread the word and inform people there are teams and regionals nearby.
On a similar note we went to Applebee’s on 96th St. in Lawrence for dinner. The hostest asked why we were all wearing the same shirts, and what we were about. We explained a little to her about the competition at the high school.
I reminded my wife, that the Applebee’s in Seneca has a picture of our rookie year robot hanging up.
Thanks again for the button.
Jane, thanks so much for the shout out! Drake, I’m glad it worked out so well for you. It was our pleasure, and we hope to keep doing it provided our resources hold out. Thanks again!
Actually that Applebee’s is in Fishers. lol
I know I didn’t thank you in person, and I’m not sure if I thanked you in the other thread, but thank you Siri for the button! I’m displaying it on my backpack, so EVERYONE knows who I am on CD.
Thank you so much Siri for doing this! I wish I had a little more time before scouting began to talk!
