This year our team decided to have several “stock” designs to choose from after kickoff. We decided on 4 general drive base configurations, a single speed skid steer, a 2 speed skid steer, a 4 inch Mecanum and an 8 inch Mecanum. We expect to add to this list in the future but thought this would be a solid starting platform.
Each design is made mostly with COTS parts, with the few exceptions being the base plate, battery frame sub assembly and bumper mounts. The front is left open in all 4 designs to allow room for that years mechanism.
