“Cubeasaurus” was taken by last year’s robot, so there was nothing we could really do this time around. We didn’t have time for a photoshoot during build season, so we decided to take photos now that we actually have our robot back. You may have seen the CAD already, but now you get to see the actual robot (unless you saw it on Carver).
Features include, but are not limited to:
-6x 6" traction wheel WCD, powered by 2-CIM Vex Pro ball shifters
-Double-jointed “rolly-grabber” intake, actuated on a triple-acting solenoid for clamping and release
-2-stage cascade elevator - but with motors on the intermediate stage!
-Single climb with hook arm and winch
-Orange side panels (a requirement for any good robot)
