Unfortunately, our 2005 Kit of Parts hasn´t arrived yet (sigh)…but who says we´re limited to brainstorming and researching?? Hands on!!!
Several students rallied up to build small LEGO robots to get a visual perception of some mechanical ideas they had…and these miniature models could possibly become references for our FRC bot…(!)…
Don’t be too dismayed. I know there are plenty of teams, us included, that haven’t even needed to touch the kit yet. Except for the camera, you can get plenty of design, planning, and build work done without the kit in your hands. Of course, considering your beautifully designed and constructed robot last year, I doubt that this is news to you.
thanks…that´s comforting to hear
we´re a bit upset that it hasn´t arrived yet but that hasn´t kept us from doing anything…there´s tons to be done and we haven´t let time go to waste. Even though we´re a week short, it may not be too much of a problem, because last year we had to ship our robot earlier anyway due to certain circumstances…in fact, it challenges things a bit and makes the experience all the more fun hehe…
Boa sorte. :]
“I’m sorry to hear that your KOP has not arrived.
But nice job with the LEGO prototype. Now you can
compete in FLL and FRC.
Considering your problem, I hope FIRST gives you guys an extra week or two
on the shipping deadline. Good Luck.” :]
