This is the back side of the robot. Pictured it the third wheel (the back wheel) of the drivetrain. The wheel moves correctly right now with the code when turning.
does the third wheel rotate on its own axis? Are the other two stationary or do they rotate as well? what is the motivation for this?
yes, by the looks of the gear above the wheels and the cim attached to the wheel.
Yes, that back wheel rotates on its own. The inspiration for the entire robot was basically a forklift, because it has two wheels in the front and one in the back, and an arm that raises and lowers. We haven’t finished the arm code yet, but here is a video of our first drive test. This was very rough, but it’s a lot better now.
