Nice and relatively simple, I like. Looks like you have a pulley next to what looks like your rope hook. Is that just for extra traction or is there something else there?

We had difficulty winding the rope around a thin shaft so we tried different wheels and pulleys. The pulley above the hook just happened to be the right size so we used it.
Nice, but how consistent is it?
Just tested it a few days ago. Nearly perfectly consistent albeit a little slow. We’ll be steadily lowering the reduction until we get a consistent and fast speed. Preferably sub-5 seconds.
