We designed our robot with two basic goals to circumnavigate the defenses, focusing on the ability to go over all the low defenses,under the low bar, and shoot high. We built the robot to be able to shoot with two flywheels on a shooter that can raise out of the chassis of the robot to shoot(to improve aim and have an advantage against defending robots). The shooting mechanism is able to turn and track the high goals 180 degrees using a pan mechanism.
we also have a custom tank drive system that we made from large timing belts with tread sewed on for traction.
