We just finished hosting our 2nd annual LAN Tournament at our school. It’s a “lock in” overnight event (look at the clock!) with 32 particpants (8 teams of 4) with 8 networked Xbox’s. We hold it in our school’s library. In this picture we actually had a 9th station with a Xbox 360 on the large projector. We then give out prizes for the top finishing team and top individual winner. We charged $15 per person and also sold sodas, energy drinks, pizza and cookies. It’s a fun and easy way to make some quick $$, if you have the resources (location, network equipment, and projectors). The XBox’s and games were brought by the robotics team members and some participants.
