Wow, i forgot how mcuh aluminum there was on that rack…
First guess, your using a FP to power your arm
Thats a HUGE sprocket attached that FP gearbox. So obviously, you are just trying to waste weight and space or are going for a HUGE gear up.
But why?
Just to let you know, the sprocket has been changed, but is still the same size.
My guess is you all are planning on being overweight…interesting strategy…i like it
WE might have a different plan than being overweight, but thats just my guess
Who ever said that? Besides, the sprocket in that picture has since been replaced with an aluminum one.
Also, we are not using all of the supplies on that rack (at least not on the same robot.) You’ll just have to seee our special twist at the regionals
We are using most of the supplies on that rack somewhere, though…
that’s a lot of material-- i would like to say though it very organized on that rack. good job with that but a huge sprocket, i can’t imagine right now what you guys are doing. i look forward in finding out. if you guys have multiple bots that’ll be interesting. have fun and good luck guys!
having multiple bots :ahh: :ahh: don’t scare us into doing it… WE could make two completely different robots that wigh 60lbs each, and use a random one in any given match…
Ok so are you making a new robot cart too this season?
We haven’t bought the material for our cart.
Although we may be using some odds and ends from this on part of our cart…
aluminum sprokets eh? mmmm…good luck with that one
how did u guys attach the sprocket to the FP gearbox??
how did you guy attach a FP gearbox to a spocket? may i have a few more pics on it?
Thats a little bit tricky, we don’t want to post any thing until we’re 100% that its working… But i hope you like our teaser!!
O come on , tell me…plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…(i know is for the arm…)
