Looks nice. It looks like you have the 2xCIM adaptor for the Banebots gearboxes. Have you had a chance to drive it around yet and check for increasing backlash in the tranny?

thanks, its getting there despite us losing a week to ice…no we havent driven it yet, everytime we are about to wire it up to drive, something goes wrong in the gearbox but we fixed it finally
That’s a good-looking robot. It’s hard to tell from the picture how the manipulator is attatched to the arm. Does the manipulator stay parallel as you lift it, and if so, how? It looks to me like the manipulator section pivots freely at the point where it attaches to the arm.
thanks…this is just sort of a prototype as far as the arm goes, we just used some materials that we had laying around…the end of the arm will look different when we are done
