pic: Team ASAP prototyping setup



This is a prototyping setup made from a broken RF controller and an Arduino. The Arduino is only there to act as a PWM generator, so you could do this with some timer ICs if you wanted to. Not pictured is the 5v injector cable for servo control made of a 2014 router power supply, a diode, and a PWM cable

Some possible improvements:
Mounting this thing to a board
Using a proper terminal block for the ground
Putting a port on both sides of the thing to allow the user to supply their own Cat5 cable

Why is your left stick all the way to the right? does it not have hairsprings?

It does not have springs in it. I assume it’s how the mentor that previously owned it liked it set up. (I believe it was previously used for Battlebots)
