Team007 took a day off from the busy build to referee at the MD State Lego League tournament. They were a huge help, esp. since the tournament had to be rescheduled due to a blizzard last week. These is the second tournament they have assisted.
Wow, taking the time off to do a FLL tournament during the build cycle? That’s really showing committment! Can’t wait to meet you guys down at Chesapeake!
Smashing 007, just smashing!
(Been wanting to say that for something)
Miss Jenny’s gonna’ get a talkin’ to for putting that pic up. Lol! Yeah it was an amazing experience, I had never thought a FLL Tournament would be as huge and exciting as this one was! Just being able to see the looks on the kids’ faces when they did well, or got an award was just great. Interacting with the coaches was such a thrill and too fun for words.
To all who haven’t judged/refereed at a FLL Tournament, please do so next year! It’s such a great experience, I hope to do it for the rest of my life (or, at least until I can’t see the field correctly. ;))
i’ve never reffed at a competetion before, but i did run a lego summer camp, and that was really fun too! also, it was cool meeting a 7th grader who was better with computers than me
