This is the 2016 competition robot from Viking Robotics Team 2928. We are proud to present Tyr, Norse god of war.
Our team had discussions on robot names. Tyr popped up.
We went with Berserker instead, and now I’m glad. It would have been awkward if we were at the same event and both were “Viking” robotics with robots named “Tyr”.
Thought we’d only see each other at Champs!
