For all those skeptical about the brake…you can see the pedal, err…rod, and brackets on the right foot bar. Yes this is how I got the chopper to and from ramp riot. The only problem was that the wind and tie-down straps made some really loud humming/buzzing sounds…which kind of gave me a headache.
I heard so much about the Chopper that I am truly sorry, I missed seeing it. I usually see about half of Ramp Riot because, I’m running around putting out “fires”.
But it was awesome that you came to the competition. We hope you had a great time and really appreciate you being there.
Now seriously, why the heck is it “ghetto” rigged on to the back of that car? haha. You should have drove it there, that would have been a sight to see!
The roof mounted mini chopper, an option offered by Dodge in '68, but is extremely rare and not seen often! Dave calling it “pimp” would be an understatement!
P.S. unless I’m wrong, i believe that is a '68 or '69 Dart.
Good call…it is a '68. And I do believe that the only way to tell the difference between those two years is the front end, so you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference from that picture.
I have two things. One was a famous vehicle we have all seen in the back to the future movies. That is the DeLorean. The second thing i saw was this famous Simpson character etched into a windshield. That is the one and only Homer Simpson. Seeing these two things was wicked cool and that bike was also another cool thing I saw at Ramp Riot 5!
