Pictures of where your robot is at this point1

We are almost done with season and there is a little over a week left. Could all the teams please post a picture of there robot here!

This is it so far, and she currently weighs in at 100.2 LBS

Here’s where we are so far:

Having a belly pan span the entire length of the chassis is really helpful for mounting electronics and pneumatics while leaving plenty of room for wire/tube routing. This is almost all of the electronics that go on the robot (minus, as I said, some cables and tubing)

Also, we tried to make the catapult as safe as possible by adding the amazingly useful pool noodles, an interlock system, and very safe programming/procedures for the launch sequence. If everything goes as planned, there should be no casualties or even slight mishaps involved with the design, construction, and competition of this catapult!

Also note that this is only 1/2 the robot… more to come

some pretty nice robots, I am really intrested to see 233, 100 or 254 just because i like their previous years robots

I don’t think you’ll get the whole robot from any of them. Many of the “top” teams don’t post pictures until the robot is at least shipped. 233 and 254 have posted teasers.

Here’s a portion of ours - taken where it was at the time, on the bench:

Full photos will be coming in the future.

This is where we were last Saturday. We found out that our arm did not have enough power to lift the ball so we are currently making a new arm. At this point it weighs in at approx 94 lbs.

We are not posting another picture until is has been properly dressed and decorated!

hoping to see it soon
