Can anybody help me?
I’m trying to find a nice and easy way to mount 5/8" i.d. bearings. One very easy solution is to take the K.O.P. Pillow Block from last year and use it, or manufacture a new one. However, I think making these would be more explensive than just buying them.
Does anybody know where I can get these, or something similiar? Thanks.

i have looked around for those bearing for the same reason you have. i had trouble finding anything that wasnt made out of iron or steel. i think it would easier and cheaper to use old ones or make new ones rather than buy them. if you dont have an left over from last year im sure you could find a team that does and would be willing to give them to you.
You can try these stamped steel base mount bearings that I saw on a number of robots (5913K41 at McMaster). Not extremely heavy and I think ABEC-1 should be good enough for most of us.
