Pit Map and Agenda Revealed

Agenda = http://www.usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Community/Assets/Agenda_Final.pdf

Pit Map = http://www.usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Community/FRC/Events/2007/07Pit_Map.pdf (not working)

Hmmm… whats up with wednesday, does anyone know about that?

Well it says Public Agenda on the top… so Im guessing since it isnt public it isnt posted… I would think the whole uncrating time & the conferences they have announced still count, just since no one other than FIRST teams is allowed, they didnt want to publish it.

The pit map shows 94 pit spaces per division. I believe last year there were about 85 teams per division. Are there going to be 3 dozen more teams there this year?

I didn’t see any practice fields in the pit plans. Do you know if they are planned if there is enough space?

each division got a half of a feild, take a look near the center of teh FRC pits

They are there in the middle sort of

One for the Curie/Archimedes

and one for Newton/Galileo

Quick question, I can’t found any info regarding wether or not the pitstalls are going to be 10x10, does any know?\

Wait, i found it… and yes they 10x10

The link does not go to a valid page any more. FIRST must have taken it down. Does anyone have a new link to it?

Does anyone know when uncrating is on Wednesday? We couldn’t find anything about it last night…

Uncrating is Wed. 4-6pm with three people.

It’s 6:00 to 9:00, as usual. See the “Essential Information” thread.

Registration and Uncrating
Hours: Wednesday, 6-9 p.m. and/or Thursday, 8 a.m. to noon. (Not for Pit Station setup or robot work)
Form odd and even-numbered team lines for each division. You will be asked to provide a cell phone
number and your hotel name as a part of the team safety contact process.
Uncrating: Three (3) members, one must be an adult, from each team can uncrate. Each must bring
safety glasses to enter the Pit for this process. We recommend that you wear gloves. When your crate is
empty, notify a Shepard Exposition Services desk representative that your crate is ready for storage.
Release Forms: If team members have attended a Regional competition event and handed in a Release
Form, they do not have to do it again. Only those attending this as their initial 2007 competition event must
provide one. Team members under 18 must have a parent/legal guardian’s signature on the form.

It’s in the Essential Event Info sheet.

It says 6:00-9:00 for Uncrating and Registration.
3 team members, one must be an adult.
No pit building or robot work allowed

The Essential Event Sheet, if anyone is wondering (I recommend reading it, it’s very helpful), is here: http://www.usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Community/FRC/Events/2007/07_CMP_Essential_Information.pdf

Looks like the pit map was taken down (or hasn’t been officially posted yet)

The Pit map link appears to be dead, it redirects me to this “Page Not Found”](http://www.usfirst.org/contact.aspx?id=3680) page.

Is there a new link?

I decided to host it on my site. Please note: FIRST could have taken it down because there is a problem with it. I just put it up for reference. I in no way guarantee that it is correct.

They just renamed the pit map from the link originally posted, the correct link is on the championship page: http://www.usfirst.org/community/frc/content.aspx?id=432&menu_id=80

The new link is http://www.usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Community/FRC/Events/2007/07_pit_map.pdf

Oops. I’ll still leave my file up in case someone already has a link there.
