Does anyone have good info on how to at least get a good start on using the Pixy as a camera? I’ve checked a lot of places and can’t find good sites or github repositories it. It might be possible for us to use it for this seasons competition, which is why I’m doing research on this

I’ve had it working over i2C last I checked they had good documentation on how to implement it customly. Unfortunately you’d probably have to go with not i2C because of the Roborio 2 issues.

Is there an alternate way to use it?

In 2016, we used Pixy’s analog OUTPUT to the roborio analog pin. This worked like a champ for only 1-axis of centering to the green light.

So far we have nothing, but we do have at least 1 practice robot with roboRIO 1. We have to update code for that and that might not be done for a while.

We might try that out.
