My name is Carlee, and I am a FRC alum from team 3562 LiveWire.
The Idaho Regional is held on Boise State University campus (where I am a student), and I was able to help out quite a bit.
I was helping 3562 take down their pit, and in the process, we found that many of our highly important Chairman’s documentation had gone missing. We immediately alerted the staff, and went looking for it. We could not find any of it, even after going through the entire venue. We even went through the garbage trying to find these items.
We would be extremely grateful if the community were to keep an eye out for the following:
-
Our original children’s books, written and illustrated by former and current team members. We had seven copies in four different languages, and all of them are missing. We take these everywhere with us, and host Robot Story Times using these books, and are loved by children. We paid to have these professionally printed, and are currently the only physical copies in existence.
-
Our scrapbook. We are missing a giant purple scrapbook chronicling every outreach event and competition we have been to since 2011. We keep this in our pit, and we can flip through and quickly show judges or anyone who is interested a photographic history of our team.
-
A photo album. This item isn’t quite as long as the scrapbook, and is easier to take into the Chairman’s presentation to show judges photographic documentation of events.
-
Binders with other paper documentation of outreach events.
Obviously, we are devastated that these are gone, but are working to get them back. We have already sent emails to every team at the Regional, and have also contacted the Regional Directors to help us get in contact with the harder to reach teams.
Social media posts are currently being drafted, and will be posted soon.
PLEASE do not hesitate to contact me or the team via our Facebook page, or the emails listed on the “Contact Us” tab of the website. Find us at: http://www.livewirerobotics.com/
Please share, and help us get our Chairman’s things back!
