Our team is using coiled pneumatic tubing to get air up to our lift, and were wondering whether the tension of the tubing will pull down on the lift. How have pneumatic coils worked for your team?
The spring force of the pneumatic tubing will be negligible compared to the force of gravity pulling down on your lift. If you can properly counter-balance gravity (or have sufficient resistance to back-driving to ignore it), it’s highly unlikely that the additional spring force of the tubing will change that.
