PNW Offseason September Event - StormSurge

PacNW Teams (or anyone who wants to come) - The StormBots are inviting you to our StormSurge competition on Saturday, September 16th. The event will be at Skyview High School in Vancouver - easy access from I-5.

We did this event two years ago and are bringing it back this year! We are planning it earlier in the fall in order to provide more time between PacNW scheduled off season events.

The event will use last year’s field and rules. Come and join us! We are hoping for both Oregon and Washington teams, as we are sort of between both!

The formal system for volunteers will happen in a few weeks, but for now you can email Luke Glassett at [email protected]

While we intend to do this event in 2024, we have not yet made that final decision. We expect to get out more information in July. Thank you for your interest!

If you do it again you could model the rules to be like the 1678 game “storm surge” that crescendo was based on!

We would be interested in attending this year if the dates work out.
We used to stay in Vancouver, WA every late May from 2003-2009 (7 seasons) to race electric cars at the PIR.
