It’s cool to see 9 PNW teams in the top 10 of all the divisions, and especially cool to see one PNW team, 492, leading a division. It’ll make playoffs especially fun!

(Shameless plug for my team: 3674 leads all teams at Houston with 1760 rotor engagement points; getting a 2-rotor auto twice and 4 rotors 8 times helps with that, apparently :D)

This is a really exciting year for PNW teams!

9 PNW teams moving on after alliance selections on the Carver field.
Best Wishes All.

Let’s go 2930, 179, 3674, and 2557!
We are going to need max rotors and your 2 auton rotors.

The #3 alliance on Turing is all PNW teams.

pnw alliance on turing: 1318, 2046, 1595 and 2907

1540, 948 and 2147 selected as well.

good luck everyone!

Neat to see most of the teams moving on into eliminations. Good luck!

1595, 1318, 2046 and 2907 made it to Einstein’s.

Great to see eastern WA finally getting some recognition, good luck to them all.

This is a really strong alliance.

2928 also made it to Einstein

Go PNW!

A rough Einstein for the pnw Alliance, but they did manage two rotors in auto twice, being the only alliance to do two rotor at all on Einstein.

I’d like to point out that we have our first PNW world champs winner, 2928. They are an amazing team and their gear running was a steal for their alliance. Their drive team is the epitome of class and gracious professionalism and they definitely deserved the win!

+1

I also want to congratulate 2903 for their Einstein appearance. How did PNW do on judged awards? I know the Chickens earned EI.

How about some love for 2903 Neobots too? On the winning alliance for Hopper and were on the field for the majority of the playoff matches.

I’d like to give a shoutout to our PNW District Championship alliance partners Shockwave, and the Cloverbots who made it to QFs and Semis respectively in their divisions, also our neighboring team 2930, the Sonic Squirrels who ended in Semis. PNW was repping hard at Houston this week and it goes to show that we can contend with the big-league teams.

Also, thanks to all my fellow PNW teams and everyone at Houston worlds for making my senior year of FRC amazing! Good luck to all the teams headed to St. Louis!

Congrats to the PNW! 6 Washington teams on Einstein beat our the 5 from California.

You almost had a big 1678 logo in the middle of your PNW picture! (We came over to talk with my sister and brother in law) But I put on my Skunks polo. Look for the 1678 polo on my son dead center in the Skunks. :o

Have a soft spot for you guys. My mother lived in Ballard for a while, so happy to see 2928 on that championship alliance.

Thanks! We’re glad that we were able to partner with 2930 and 2557, in addition to 179, and advance to the semifinals. All three teams on our alliance were incredible to work with, and seeing PNW teams compete with other top teams was awesome.

Congrats to 2928 on winning Einstein! You made PNW proud, and it was cool to see you guys take home the win. Shoutouts to 1318, 2046, 1595, 2907, and 2903 for also making it to Einstein; you all have a lot to be proud of.

PNW teams were very impressive !
In the Hopper division, 7 out of 8 PNW teams made the elimination rounds.
2903 - NeoBots made it to Einstein and they played very well.

The PNW chant was loud and clear on Einstein !

In addition to the awesome sentiment expressed in the rest of this thread, I wanted to point out one thing:

The #4 alliance at the Glacier Peak District Event contained:

  • a #1 seed and division finalist at Worlds,
  • a Championship division semifinalist alliance captain, and
  • a World Championship Winner.

How we were ever able to get together on that March Sunday I simply will not ever know. Congratulations to Teams 492 and 2928!

very proud of my former team for going one step further than we achieved while I was around and qualifying for Einstein!
