What a great couple of weeks for mountain teams!

Many, many mountain teams found awesome success at the World Championship in Houston. Great job to all teams that participated, and a special congratulations to 1011 on winning Houston! Way to represent the mountain region!

Now that the season is over, I want to know who the best teams in mountain region were according to you, the reader. Below, I have a link to a top 20 poll where you can submit your votes for what teams should be on the Official Mountain Top 20 List. It will be open until 11:59 PM this upcoming Saturday.

Remember, the mountain region is defined as the states of Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Idaho, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, and the Canadian province of Alberta. Please submit different teams for each choice, and only submit teams in the region.

Just got some responses on the form. As a reminder, this is for mountain teams only. There may be some great non-mountain teams, but they will not be included.

It has been a really exciting year for teams in our region. I really look forward to your poll results, and your analysis of the season. Thanks again for doing such a great job for the past two years shining a spotlight on teams that don’t get to be seen as often as the old guard on the east coast, or the west coast powerhouses, or the Texas teams. Teams like 2122 and 1619 (among others) are earning well-deserved respect.
