Just to let everyone know…I’m well into the poll system that was discussed below. I just have to finishi entering the teams into the database that the program uses, and code the ranking system. If you want to get a jump start for when the system comes online(hopefully early next week), go to the link below.

Nice job on this.
Just a suggestion about robot info when registering: The speed at which a robot picks up floppies should not be related to what mechanisim is used. The choices imply that if you use an arm to pick up floppies and can only pick up one at a time, that is considered ‘slow’. I have seen team #33 gobble up floppies as fast as anyone and they use an arm to pick them up one at a time.

The mechanisms listed are simply general examples of what I’ve seen when comparing machines, and what mechanisms work at what speeds…they are by no means a definite classification. In the actual team profiles, only the selected speeds are shown, not the mechanism.

Due to some format changes in the poll system, anyone who had previously registered for the team poll will need to re-register. Sorry for any inconvenience.
