What will be will the overall climb rate across all qualification matches in week and 1 and 2 events?
This is across all teams, not just yours. This would be totalScaleCount / (totalMatchCount * 6).

You forgot the actual poll
Got it up now. Didn’t realize that CD prompted you in a new window.
I’m guessing 10% - 19% in the low end. Last year we had a poll that said more than 60% of us on CD would be scaling: https://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=143735. The actual rate (according to TBA) was ~2.5% for both weeks one and two.
I’m guessing plenty of teams will go up. But 0-9% of total teams will actually score without breaking the field.
I feel that climbing this year will be a lot easier than last year, given that a rope is provided. All a robot needs is a winch and a reliable way to get the end of the rope to catch onto it. I fell that climbing rates will be much higher in Steamworks compared to Stronghold.
Then again, this is coming from a 2nd year team, so take our thoughts with a grain of salt!
climbing will be more abundant becasue its worth more than it was last year. That said weeks 1/2 will see about a 25-30% climb rate
Week 0 had a 8.33% qual match climb rate.
In 2016, Week 0 had a 3.12% qual match scale rate.
This didn’t improve much for over the course of the competition season until the very late weeks and Champs.
Of course, this is just one data point. Climbing this year seems easier than scaling last year, and point weighting can affect what teams have prioritized.
We went to the 7RRC Week 0 event which is an unscored scrimmage. Of 18 teams, 4-5 were climbing consistently.
