Hey guys!
My first public version of PortSnoop is out! Hope you enjoy it!
If you have any suggestions or comments, or like the program,
please drop me a line at [email protected].
Download the three files listed at the bottom and put them in a
temporary folder. Run setup.exe… the rest is self-explanatory.
I posted this in the Tech forum as well.
Enjoy!
Tony
P.P.S. Netscape Enterprise server is a pain to set up… grrr!

I’m sorry if this is a stupid question…but is PortSnoop a dashboard interface of some sort? Is this the C version that I heard someone talking about?
Sorry if I missed that info somewhere,

I was curious about this myself, so I downloaded it and took a look…PortSnoop is the first(that I know of) dashboard interface to be designed and released using the Dashboard Decoder library that I designed.

Where do I go to download PortSnoop? Also, what code language is PortSnoop in? Is the program already compiled, or is just the source code given? Thanks for the help!

While this isn’t my program, I’ll be glad to help out with this question, since I’ve already downloaded it myself…there’s a link to download it in the message by Tony in the Tech forum. It is written in VB6 (if I remember correctly what he e-mailed me before), and is using the Dashboard Decoder library that I have written. The source code is NOT included in the download files.

It’s written in VB6; if you want to see the source, I’d be happy to show it to you. It runs very fast on a P/200… If anyone can run it on anything else, please let me know!

Tony,
I’ve run the sample program released with the decoder on a Pentium-133 laptop with 16MB of RAM and Win95 without any problems…haven’t tried yours yet, but I might give that a shot on monday…
