Potential FMS issue deleting points?

Howdy, I’ve been watching the FiT Waco event and noticed something really strange with the score in Qual 3. At around 30 seconds remaining, the blue alliance has a score of 33 and 10/15 notes scored. The score very briefly jumps to 777216 points then falls to 22 points and 2/15 notes scored. While this case didn’t impact the match outcome or any match RPs. It’s a really strange issue that merits attention especially if this isn’t a one-off issue.

Something like this also happened at Lake Superior and the score was briefly published before being replayed.

My suspicion is some sort of bit flip – 2^24 is 16777216.

Could also be a counter underflowing. 24-bit counters may not be very common, but they’re not unheard of, and not as unusual as odd powers of 2.
