Power distribution hub next to Roborio

Any issues with the Robiorio and power distribution hub next to each other? I tend to try and keep power away from the roborio but I may be just paranoid.

You should be fine with those two next to eachother. Just avoid running any PWM, or sensor cables parallel to power cables.

We have had ours next to each other for a few years. No issues.

No issues with mounting these next to each other.

Why avoiding it?

Probably interference, since pwn isn’t like CAN with resistance to interference (the whole difference idea of CAN)

High current electrical lines, can induce ElectroMagnetic Interference (EMI) in other cables nearby. CAN is a differential bus, so it is extremely resistant to any noise or induced interference. However, PWM is a very susceptible data signal with no protections against this. If the signal and power lines cross perpendicularly, you won’t have an issue. It’s only a real issue when run parallel. If you are using any analog sensors as well, those are EXTREMELY susceptible to EMI.
