This is the Iron Panthers, FRC Team 5026. We’re based in Burlingame, CA (right between San Francisco and San Jose), and we recently acquired a practice field. The practice field will be open for other teams to use free of charge for the 2024 season, and we’re planning to have field elements done in early February.
We’re sending out this initial post to gauge interest in our practice field. More information is to come once onseason starts in January. Please note that our space has a limited height and might not work with a shooting game. Feel free to spread the information to other teams in the area, and let us know if you have any questions at [email protected]!

Happy Kickoff! We are excited to be able to provide some more details about our open
practice field this season! We have spent the past few days moving in to the space
and setting up carpet (Neyland II) and walls.
We are going to operate on a Time slot system, but please note that the slots currently on the sheet are subject to change as we finalize some scheduling details; slots currently on the sheet may be removed and additional slots are to come soon. All teams must sign and follow the Team Expectations to use our practice field. Please email a signed copy to [email protected] from your team email before you attend your first slot. We are located on the peninsula, right near SFO; The address is: 577 Airport Blvd, Suite 440, Burlingame, CA, 94010.
We will have more information to come a bit into the season. Please note that our space has limited height and might not work with a shooting game (this was written the night before kickoff, so watergame is my best guess… ). Feel free to spread the information to other teams within the area and let us know if you have any questions or concerns!
This is sweet, glad y’all figured out how to open this back up to the community. We will probably be interested in coming by… Especially if we can coordinate something approaching 3v1 or even 3v3…

Thanks for opening up your field! I placed 7426 Pair of Dice on March 7th date. I know times are TBD for that day but we are available as early as 11AM. Would appreciate a ping when you lock in times.
Is there a max number of members per team?
9470’s (Ctrl-Alt-Defeat) very interested. We’ve been searching for a practice field since before SVR, and especially now. We’ll email the email address that 5027 has sent.
