Problem with sparkmax CAN wire

there’s a loop on the end that plugs in to the sparkmax, what’s the loop for and does it cause problems if we don’t have it?

It bridges the two pairs together so you can daisy chain.

And if you don’t have the loop, daisy-chaining will only work if you have a Spark MAX connected and functioning. (The loop allows signal to be passed through even if the connector is disconnected from a Spark MAX.)

Basically what it does it makes to where a failed SparkMax won’t brick your whole robot.
