Hello everyone, recently our team is using swerve for the first time and we are having a small problem, our swerve is giving a drift, as if it were a whip, and when we invert the orientation of our pigeon 2.0 it stops giving a whip (drift ), however the orientation of the arena is completely unregulated (something that doesn’t happen when our pigeon is not inverted)
The drift should be fixed with 2025.1.3-1
please try this. Note that this is a beta
for 2025 and we are still working out some things on it! We hope to have a full release next week!
Is there no other way to fix this? We want to test this week, we are using the 2024 yagsl in view of the problems that are occurring in the 2025 beta version
Honestly there doesn’t seem to be a big difference between your configs and 2025, the only real thing you would have to change is your motor types to include your motor for ex sparkmax
to sparkmax_neo
you should definitely try out 2025 right now. If you are going to be doing it tonight i can help in the yagsl discord from in 15mins for 1hr.
The only issue would be you have to update firmware.
I really appreciate your availability, but where I live it is almost 10 pm (the time our laboratory closes), we will try to update everything, and do what you told us, thank you again very much
Hello again, we tried to do what you advised us, but due to dependencies on some libraries that have not yet been officially released, swerve presents some precision problems, would it be possible to find a solution for the 2024 version in which I posted in the github link above?
