this site is doomed thanks to some fellow posters…lol

/me is trying to figure out if he wants to tell why its got so many people on it.

what is the deal with this?

follow the little trail of bread crumbs to the source…it starts at the stats part of the ChiefDelphi page…

IT buzz. There’s been lively conversation going on at www.theitquestion.com since the Monday teaser on ABC. Someone posted a link to a picture in the ChiefDelphi’s Picture Gallery. grin

a Picture of IT!!!

good job tas246…lol:D NEW RECORD!!! i hope brandon doesn’t ban you jk

This is so funny, watching the numbers rise every passing minute. We’re up to 200 now.

I hope the server doesn’t strain too much under the load.

i sure hope not david

The Chief is holding up really well! With such an incredible boost of views (of a certain pic) i thought the boards would of slowed down a lot, but i havent noticed anything. Then again, I am on 56k, so you special people with cable/dsl/the like might be experiencing the forums as i normally do

It’s not really a problem.

This board is made to handle TONS of users. I’ve been on vBulletin-run sites that have 200+ people on all the time.

I know there were about 1500 people looking at pictures of IT in the gallery, but the gallery is tied into the forum system, so if you view the gallery – you are marked as ‘online’… so there were probably 5-10 members and 190 guests viewing that picture in the gallery at one time…

Anyway – no biggie, unless we start going over our bandwidth … but we have a ton to use, we only used 10% of it last month … so until we get up to 80-90% of our alloted bandwidth being used, dont worry
