Programs and the RC

Well, aftr finally creating a “gold” copy of the robot code, i uploaded it yesterday before they shipped out the robot, and i also saved it to a disk, the laptop we’ll be using at the competitions, and my own personal computer. (Yes, i’m a bit paanoid :D). Now, i have a question…

Is it possible to read the code that’s on the RC? I know that to download it you just hit the run button, but is there a way to upload the code from the RC to a computer? I know this isn’t something that is needed, but it’s still something that is somewhat interesting to me, at least much more than my homework :D.

Sorry, but no…the Basic Stamp software tokenizes the file before it sends it down, so there is no real way to get back to your source code from what the RC actually stores

Ah, thought so. Oh well, just have to go and save it in a few more spots, preferably without Steve and wire ties…

I MAKE ONE MISTAKE AND YOU FLIP!!!
the TIE WRAP wasn’t suppose to be holding the compressor on!

TIE WRAP not WIRE TIE!

I think this wire tie incedent needs its own thread in chit chat…
