I know I can control the rumble of the controller with
Controller.getHID().setRumble(RumbleType, value);
but is there a way to control the LEDs on the ps5 controller? and also is there a way to control the ps5 controller’s force feedback triggers? also, is there a way to get the coordinates the person is pressing on the touchpad on the ps5 controller?
I believe the PS5 presents itself as an XBox controller to the PC, which limits the number of axes, etc. But even as a DirectInput device, the DS only supports axis and button inputs and rumble and digital outputs. It’s possible (but unlikely) that the digital outputs map to LEDs, or the touchpad maps to axes.
I believe there was a team that used 2 Xbox controllers and they had LED’s glow blue or red depending on if it is the driver or operator, I do not remember the team but it should be possible
I have a similar controller question. We have some XBox One controllers that when connected to Driver Station, We see the 10 normal buttons but there are 6 more that show up. THe buttons in the 2nd column. We haven’t found a single button on the controller that will trigger them. Any ideas what they could be???
