For anyone who was looking at ordering from or has ordered from The Robot Marketplace, be aware that the physical store and online version of the site do not result in your parts getting shipped to you. Especially for those that were looking at getting Colsons from there - the “backorder” is growing, but you will not get your order. Have repeatedly tried calling and emailing the information listed on their contact us page, but did not receive anything back.

How long has it been since you first contacted them? Are you sure they are just not responding quickly?
I only ask because the sign in the picture on google only indicates that the retail portion of their business has closed. And that the online portion would remain active.
Seconded. I have had occasional issues receiving timely responses from the robot marketplace, but always get the parts – its been an absolute fixture of the robot combat community for years – people there would have heard by now, if they were closing or otherwise having widespread issues filling orders across the board.
I was reading the same just now. I’m pretty skeptical as their website has been updated for 2020 (unless this happens automatically?).
Any Floridians who can confirm they’ve ceased internet operations as well?

I’ve emailed them three times and called them twice (during the hours listed on their website) to enquire about shipping times for colson wheels but have not received anything back.
My team has decided to order from another supplier now. Our last order from them was on 11/18, which we received successfully.
I emailed them on January 9th and got a response within 8 hours about how they shipped my colsons. Granted, I did buy them on January 6th and the wheels were not on backorder. I have a UPS tracking number. I sent an email at their help but received a response from [email protected]
Robot Marketplace has always been unresponsive to inquiries and slow to ship parts. Do not rely on them for short turnaround items. And when I say short turnaround, I essentially mean orders placed during build season.
I believe their online store is still open.

Sounds about right for The Robot Marketplace. They probably noticed you made an order late last week.
Adding on, we also got our Colsons. Although they did give us an incorrect tracking number.
