For questions, contact us at [email protected]

Regarding the Travel Grant, would this be to help cover transportation/lodging costs, registration fees, or a mix of those? Is there a max value of which we should be aware?

The travel grant offered by Purdue’s Department of Science is to help cover transportation and lodging and $1000 is given, on average.

What is the status of the registration? I submitted one last week and did not receive a confirmation that it was received. Thanks.

Registration is still open for Boiler Bot Battle! We are currently at 19 teams and would like to have at least 24 for a full set of eliminations!

The Beak Squad is excited to come to this event and see some old friends from Indiana we’ve been missing since the district switch!

Is there a team list available yet?

Team 4272 is also excited to compete in our hometown off-season event!!

I was just told our team canceled because of a lead leak in the armory, can anyone confirm this to be true.

I second this request if it’s available! Thanks!

There is not a lead leak in the Purdue University Armory. The Armory is home to Purdue’s ROTC program as well as a variety of outdoors clubs. Due to the programs that participate in this venue, there have been rifles shot in the armory. The rifles have left a very small trace of lead in the dust. The amount of lead is minute enough where the competition and venue are safe as the Risk Management and Student Activites Organization at Purdue University have given us the “okay” to host the event. However, we have released a precaution to ensure the safety of attendees and patrons. This precaution notes that no one should sit on the armory floor without a barrier, eat off the floor, or prepare food in the armory. Thus, parents, students, and attendees must sit in the bleachers or on a protected surface as well as eat in the bleachers or outside of the armory. The precautions are to ensure the safety of the attendees and patrons.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

The current team list says 28. Would there be a chance to add a second bot for team 4926? Or is the list locked down now?
