Do you need them for anything paticularly important when the they are mounted in those pillow blocks?
I’m sure you can figure something to do with them.
In the “hanging” competition, we had a lead screw turned by an FP motor/gearbox to do the lifting of the top section which had the bar-hooks, and once they were hooked, the same leadscrew had to hoist the main (90-110#) part of the robot. What held the leadscrew ?
A pillowblock mounted bearing, doing great work as a thrust bearing. :yikes:
