putting auto-reset breakers on spikes

Does anybody know if it is legal to put auto-resetting breakers in the fuse sockets on the spikes?

I think that there was something in the rules about that. Anyway, you shouldn’t need to do that. The SPIKES need to be hooked up to 20 breakers on the fuse panel. The 20 amp fuses on the SPIKES themselves are simple automobile fuses that you can get at any auto parts store. If you are burning those fuses out, more than likely you have something wired up wrong. That’s the only time I burned ours up.

You may put a 20 amp auto resetting breaker in place of the 20 amp fuse in the spike that controls the pump.

The Spike Relay modules have a 20A fuse installed onboard. This fuse may be replaced with a 20A circuit breaker when the Relay Module is used to control the air pump. This Relay Module must still be fed from a 20A circuit breaker at the breaker panel.

Cool, that’s good to hear. If you don’t mind me asking, where did you find that? Not that I don’t trust you, but I’d like to see the rule myself before I do it.
