i just wanna ask if the super cell had been used but it doesn’t scored. is it allowed that robots can got it back ? or to use it and throw in TRAILER?
sorry for my english:p
but please try to understand i am waiting
If I understood this correctly, you’re asking that if a super cell has been thrown but does not land in a trailer, can a robot pick it up and attempt to score it?
The answer is yes. It was actually mentioned in the animations that humans or robots could score the super cells. Keep in mind though that if it’s thrown at 20 seconds (wont’ be thrown exactly at 20), you have somewhere less than 20 seconds to acquire the cell, track down a robot, and to score.
It is my understanding that a robot can return the super cells or score them on its own. I figure this based on the fact that I found no glaring rule against it in the manual, but I may be mistaken. Also, thinking about the logistics, it seems unlikely that a robot would be able to fetch and return the super cells within the last 20 seconds of the match. Not to mention that getting in position to score in that time limit may be extremely difficult as well, depending on the circumstances. If you can get it to work, however, more power to you!
thanks … you answered me
I agree with both of your answers but I suggest waiting for an update on the topic or posting in the Question & Answer forum on the FIRST site. Any “I think” posts are great as long as they are backed up by what the Game Design Committee thinks. Also, as Update 1 reminds us, nothing is official except the Manual, Q&A forum, and Updates. Not even the animation provided by FIRST is always showing practices which are completely legal.
