Question about SDS Mk4 mounting

My team is trying to figure out how to achieve maximum ground clearance. We currently have Mk4i and dont have enough ground clearance to drive over notes and such. The attached image shows SDS Mk4 side view. I believe the “standard” way of mounting them to 2x1 tube is below the plate as indicated in the red zone, but can the tube be mounted above the plate in the blue zone? This would give us more than enough ground clearance for an idea we are testing.

Additionally, has anyone converted Mk4i to Mk4? SDS does not sell a conversion kit for this.

the MK4 description says that there is clearance to mount the chassis on top of the module

We ran our MK4’s last year with the module plate below the frame rails. Perfectly reasonable way to set it up, but be careful with getting robot mass up too high.
