Question on digital sidecars

Do digital sidecars accept 12V inputs

It appears that they do not. FIRST has info here:

and a schematic here:

The digital sidecar does have a 12v input. The power input. Was there a specific type of input you were asking about, like a digital input?

yes i was asking for a digital input. sry for the vague question.

I think those are all just 5v inputs, like PWM or hobby/general stuff. Look at kstl99’s links, those should be very good.

Just to close out the thread:

The GPIO pins on the Digital Side Car do not support 12V signals. Their upper limit is 5.25V. To use a 12V signal, you will need to find a way to reduce it to 0V&5V levels first.
