Question on motor

Hello,
My team is looking for a double shaft motor. We were unable to find one on Andymark, but we found this one with a double shaft gearbox on Amazon

We are having a hard time figuring out what kind of motor is attached to that gearbox, and if it is legal or not. If it isn’t legal we were wondering if we could attach a CIM to that same gearbox.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Almost certainly not legal as it comes.
The existing motor would have to be removed.

What you seem to need to search for is a gearbox, rather than a motor, that can be attached to one of our legal motors.
Our motors are exact models only.

While it looks like a BAG, it’s only 31mm in diameter; the BAG is 40.4mm in diameter, so it’s unlikely you could replace it with a BAG. 550 and NeveRest are also too large in diameter. Adapting this to a legal FRC motor sounds like more challenge than it’s probably worth, given that you can drive a shaft on both sides using a pulley or sprocket.

Try this, hex shaft can be easily switched out for whatever length you want

Wierd, the price on CD says $60, but the price on the website says $109. And it also says it’s sold out atm.
