Question on the definition of SUSPENDED

If a SUSPENDED robot touches one of the vertical members of the TOWER, is it now an ELEVATED robot, and not a SUSPENDED robot?

“SUSPENDED: A ROBOT only in contact with an ELEVATED ROBOT and/or a SUSPENDED ROBOT shall be considered SUSPENDED.”

“ELEVATED: A ROBOT that is completely above the plane of the PLATFORM and in contact with the TOWER shall be considered ELEVATED.”

Because field elements including the tower are neither an elevated robot nor a suspended robot, it seems to me that a robot which is hanging on either a suspended robot or elevated robot but is also in contact with the tower is not suspended and, depending on the altitude, possibly not elevated.
