R.A.G.E. Autonomous?

Has anybody seen R.A.G.E.'s (173) autonomous mode? Could you please tell us what it does? Or if you have pictures/videos.

Pictures/videos can be e-mailed to [email protected].

Thanks:)

IIRC, at the UTC scrimmage, their robot backed up, opened their extender, and charged forward at the wall, knocking down 3 or 4 stacks. Things may have changed since then.

thank you…

what does it do after that? Does it just sit on top of the ramp? Does it go down the other side?

I watched Rage’s auto mode throughout UTC and it seemed to work consistently well and knocked over many a stack over the course of the weekend. I don’t have any pictures or video but it was knocking down stacks and the top of the ramp every match. It was a very good autonomous mode, one of the best at UTC in my opinion.

It goes down the other side–at about eighty mph!! They, as usual, are fast, consistent and accurate. At the UTC regional they were the fastest to hit the wall, though there were others who took out more of the wall when they hit it.

i was there just to see a good show . and Rage was one team that stud out for there auto program. great job …

I have a question? does anyone who was at UTC have video of R.A.G.E. in the finals? i’m actually looking for video of R.A.G.E. against team 157 the AZTECHS. we for some reason didn’t tape it.:ahh:

Our autonomous is very fluid, depending on where we place the robot. If our alliance partner has any chance of having a working autonomous, then we place the robot to hit the side of the ramp nearer or farther from us; otherwise, we aim for dead center. Technically we should only leave one stack behind when we aim for center, but reality says 2-3 stacks are left behind. We programmed other options for autonomous mode, and they have been tested and function properly. If you want to know more about them, you can ask me at the SBPLI LI Regional. I am willing to divulge alot of information about our autonomous there.
