Radio and Roborio not connecting

So the only way i can have the Roborio and Radio to connect is to reboot the driver station computer.

I flash the radio with the config utility, we also reformat the rio and re-install the Java JRE…

I can connect an ethernet from driver station to the rio directly, but not with the radio.

If I may clarify, the issue is that the Driver Station would sometimes connect via WiFi, it’s just that you would have to reboot your laptop every time? Or do you just have to close out of DS and open it back up?

DS will not connect unless i reboot the computer… reading something about entering static IP address… but not sure what address to enter yet … i found where to enter the value, but not sure what to put in there.

For your drivers station you can set:
IP: 10.58.60.5
Subnet mask: 255.0.0.0
Default Gateway: <blank>

RoboRIO:
IP: 10.58.60.2
Subnet mask: 255.0.0.0
Default Gateway: <blank>

But if you do this make sure every device has a static IP, otherwise you will have problems in the pits when your radio is reconfigured for the competition field.
