RaileRobotics Gantt Chart v0.90

Hey guys, this year I am the project administrator (team manager) of my team. This year I was suggested to create a timeline for our team for us to follow so that things may get done better and on time. We are lucky enough to have access to Microsoft Project 2010, so I thought that creating a Gantt chart would be a nice way to organize everything.

Here is the Gantt chart: http://i.imgur.com/EMii3.gif

As you can see from the title, this timeline isn’t complete; that is, we haven’t decided on most of the major stuff we will do this year. Granted, this timeline will be changed throughout the year, but will be followed as closely as possible.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what else I could do with it? I was thinking of integrating resources but I’m not sure how (I can learn, I just don’t know how I would apply it). Oh and don’t worry, I got the color scheme figured out.

You might need context on some of our goals. If you need any, let me know.

Great idea to start now!

I don’t think posting here needs its own scheduled task

Resource scheduling is very helpful, in making sure your resources (people) don’t get overloaded. Unfortunately, it is difficult to capture most high school students, with any certainty.

You may be best served by working this schedule out with as many people on your team as possible, rather than asking here. After all, you need your team’s buy-in. They have to work to the schedule. Be open to changes.
