Rain on our parade?

By looking at the 10 day forecast it appears that no rain will be seen during our stay in HOTlanta. YEA YEA YEA.

Atlanta is going to to nice and comfortable.

in HS my daughter did a project for a science class, tracked the local 1 day 3 day and 5 day forcasts from tv stations and the newspaper

over a 2 month period the 5 day forcasts were correct <40% of the time - which means they were wrong 60% of the time -

so statistiacally, if the weatherman said it was going to rain 5 days from now, it would be a nice day

There is what a 20% chance of rain on 16th and the 17th thats too low to even consider rain. However you will feel the humidity.

wow. 17-18, 20 degrees? thats so incredibly comfortable compared to 7 degrees here… but at least we are sunny too =)

i am of course talking celsius.

anyone know what the tempertaure is like with humidity factored in?

Thats around 75 F for the rest of us.

And for a second opinion I would suggest the NOAA’s website.

Atlanta Weather

It’s nice but not as “user friendly” as weather.com

Even that site says we are in the clear.

Humidity isn’t going to be that big of a factor with that temperature. At around 74 F you won’t feel the temperature change that much not until about 80 degrees. Even if it is 95% humidity it will just make the air thick. Trust me. Its been that temp on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for about 3 weeks now and you can’t feel it too bad.

Oh sure just as things are starting to warm up in the north we to upper 50s we get to go down south in the lower 70s cant we just enjoy what mother nature gave us… oh wait we cant we got CHAMPIONSHIPS!!! whoo-hoo I cant wait and for all I car we could have torrential down pours and thunder&lightning!!! UGH It should be absolutly gorgeous while down there yet I ahve to suffer through 3 mroe days of New England wheather tor each it but hopefully ti will all be worth it

P.S. I still remember the time I went to the carribbean for spring break only to reutrn to connecticut and find out they had a heat snap making it hotter then Grand Caymen, oh well they didnt have Stingray City :stuck_out_tongue:

I am hoping we have good weather down there atleast. I am sick of snow, sick of rain, sick of extreme tempratures. I hope we are blessed with good weather atleast down there. I think we deserve those few days with good weather, fully filled with fun :).

The 10 day forcast.

Of course, that depends on your location and your local weather patterns. In Rochester, the weather seems to change hourly.

When my friend did something similar in LA, he got entirely different results. I would expect Atlanta to be somewhere in between the two.

As a Georgia native (been here all my life not indian :ahh: ) I can say that the weather men have no way of predicting the weather here. Currently there is strong wind, rain, and cold in Columbus when they said that there would be sun and warmth. The change is quick and swift for weather and their predictions, but don’t let this discourage you. It is spring and it has been getting warm with sunny days. Georgia welcomes all of those in the championship and we hope that yall have a great time. If you have any questions I would love to help! Good luck and have fun in sunny Atlanta!
